“During my 40 years in business, I have had the privilege of arranging many customer trips to a variety of destinations on several different continents. Over the years at Englund-Gruppen we have visited factories, fairs, markets, interesting reference projects and other events with our most important customers and we have always received top marks for our careful planning and ability to choose attractive destinations. However, we have never had such a response as we got when we visited the Chateau Le Grand Val just outside Combourg in Brittany in April-May 2019. We rented the entire facility and invited just over 40 customers who arrived in two different groups.

The secluded location of the chateau meant that we managed to keep the groups together in a way we had never succeeded in doing before. Having the entire facility to ourselves and our groups was something that both we and our customers greatly appreciated, and the already good relationships were further improved. Having the opportunity to talk and demonstrate our new products in this fantastic, original environment, together with good food and drink felt like a great privilege and with the very personal and passionate hospitality that Roland and Marie Nilsson delivered, the result exceeded our high expectations.

What you accomplished for us in your chateau and in your surroundings will be hard to beat. We are already looking forward to returning. Many thanks for everything.”
