I was the one American in Eric’s group a few weeks ago and wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed your beautiful Chateau du Grand Val. While I am sure it is endless work, it was the perfect venue for Eric’s birthday party and all the fun, food (and drink) and tourism that we did during our week staying in your home. Thanks for helping to make my long time friend Eric’s birthday celebration one that none of us will ever forget – especially Eric.
We have just returned from our wedding which we held at Chateau Du Val. I am struggling to find words to describe how beautiful it was, the Chateau and grounds are best described as something from a movie and the owners Marie & Roland could not do enough to ensure our day and entire stay was as smooth and memorable as possible. It was a special day and a memory that will stay with us forever.
Tusen takk for sist! Jeg må igjen takke dere for en helt fantastisk opplevelse. Den står igjen som en uvirkelig drøm for oss alle. Vi kommer garantert tilbake, og vil holde kontakten. Lykke til med resten av sesongen, og håper dere fikk litt av det etterlengtede regnet.

Tusen tack för all hjälp vi har fått att ordna vårt sagobröllop 19/9 – 21/9-15. Allt från planering till utförande har varit fantastiskt, och Marie, jag kommer sakna dina mail i min inkorg 🙂
Vädret har även det varit varit helt ofattbart, vi är övertygade om att det är tack vare ert idoga sol-dansande!

30 people here for my 60th birthday celebration we had the place to ourselves. We dreamt, we talked, we laughed, we ate, we sang and we danced. All ages and all nationalities. Everyone felt they were in a fairy tail for four blissful days. And the wether was on our side, crisp sunny days every day!
Thank you Marie for your every attention to detail and your enormous style. It makes THE difference.

We booked Grand Val for our wedding and rented the entire place. We enjoyed our stay so much and had the most fantastic wedding!
It was so much more than we could have hoped for. Chateau and cottages are all beautiful, the chapel and Rose House all perfect places to host a wedding.
We would like to thank Marie & Roland for being such welcoming hosts and ensuring we had everything we needed. Marie helped me organic my wedding from the beginning and along every step of the way. I could not have have done it without her help. The day ran so perfectly thanks to here.
We can not wait to return for another visit

We all had a fantastic time, we laughed, sang, played games at the fantastic pool, and generally had the most wonderful, shares experience

Sorry for the delay in expressing how truly magical our wedding day was. Words cannot express how happy we were with the seamless way in which the catering staff ran the day. The food was exquisite and lived up to all our expectations and more. Our guests are still reminiscing about how impressive the Grand Val looked, the picturesque scenery and the personalised wedding ceremony (led by Reverent Gareth).
It was a pleasure getting to know you both and from our first meeting we knew the wedding would be in safe hands. Although I had lots of questions, you were quick to respond and this communication continued to reassure me. The florist, violist and hairdresser were equally amazing. All our guests couldn’t be more complimentary about how beautifully you have restored the Grand Val, bringing it back to its former glory. The traditional French style gave me an excellent theme to create my fairy-tale wedding.
We hope to visit The Grand Val again in the not so distant future.
